It's been over a year, but I finally got some new work. This is an anchor in my lower abdominal region (image cropped and Photoshopped to protect my modesty)- yes, that's right folks, it doesn't come out anywhere, just a beautiful flat gem against my skin. I am seriously considering taking out my teardrop in favor of an anchor in the same place.

I also got a new camera this weekend. It's a PowerShot A630, intended to allow me to easily carry a camera everywhere I go, and still, hopefully, take decent shots. If I use it as much as I am hoping to, I might open a Flickr account in lieu of this lj. |

It's been a long time since I've updated. Finishing my undergraduate thesis (and working on a digital media project) has kept me away from my camera. However, I'm avoiding finals so I'm posting a picture of my deliciously pierced back at Fetish Ball '06, and you can expect some images from Canvas Part III after I present them in class next week (very. last. undergraduate. assignment. ever).

I developed the "lomographs" from my trip to SF. Most were destroyed for one reason or another, but I'll print a few, and I did spend a long time obsessively trying to print a really interesting light leak.

I went ahead and bought noxphoto.net. Nox Photo is now up there, with the full Fire Revelry set just uploaded. Major site overhauls are in the works.
Also, I am working on prepping another awesome Scylla set with a really sexy, vintage-modern feel.

I got Aperture. I have yet to explore its capabilities (finals - I am a college student), but I hope it will help me solve some of my online gallery organizing problems. Soon I will purchase either noxphoto.net or noxphotography.com (anyone want to throw in their two cents on which is better?), and put all of my photography there, not just nudes, although I'm sure I'll keep this journal going. |

The set I shot of Scylla at the fridge got accepted to SG. Once it goes up (the queue usually takes a while, sorry) I can post two images of it, with the logo, on my portfolio. (But it's $$$.) (See this entry.)
I shot a TFP shibari set in the black box this afternoon - I'll get a few images of that up when they get prepped. I think I'll use a few for the fetish art show at the Paradox that I'm putting on. |
